Duties and Responsibilities
-Perform pre-surgical examinations on patients prior to surgery.
-Safely and efficiently perform spay/neuter procedures.
-Maintain complete and accurate medical records.
-Communicate effectively with clients.
-Perform additional medical procedures such as hernia repair, enucleation, amputation, dew claw removal.
-Assist with surgical dental extractions.
-Doctor of Veterinary Medicine-DVM
-2 years experience in small animal practice recommended but not required.
-Ability to safely and efficiently perform spay and neuter procedures.
-Monday thru Friday 8-5. No after hours, evening duty or on call required.
$130 k annual salary.
-Paid vacation and sick leave.
-Group health insurance plan.
-Paid CE allowance to meet the California biennial 36 hour requirement.
-Paid AVMA dues, California licensing and local VMA membership.
